The next twelve months of trading dates.
Six dated observances, three different calendar systems, and the source each date was checked against. MarginLoop aligns your own historical demand to days-before-the-date rather than to the date itself, so last year’s pattern still applies when this year’s date has moved.
Dates independently verified September 2026. Re-verified before each trading year.
THREE SYSTEMS, NOT ONE
“Lunar dates shift” is wrong for half of these
Three calendar systems are represented below and they behave differently. Flattening them into one sentence is the mistake that makes a seasonal claim easy to disprove.
- Islamic lunar
- Islamic lunar calendar, falling about eleven days earlier each Gregorian year.
- Hindu lunisolar
- Hindu lunisolar calendar, moving within its season, but does not drift steadily earlier.
- Solar, fixed
- Solar calendar, falling on the same dates every year.
Ramadan 2027 begins on 8 Feb 2027. Ramadan 2028 begins on 28 Jan 2028, 11 days earlier against the Gregorian calendar you order on. That is one year’s drift, it repeats, and it is the reason last year’s buying plan lands on the wrong week.
THE DATES
Six observances, each with the calendar system it follows and the source its date was checked against. Every date below is stated in full, so a single answer can be quoted on its own without losing the year or the caveat that goes with it.
When is Dashain 2026?
20 Oct 2026
Dashain 2026 falls on 20 October 2026. It follows the Hindu lunisolar calendar, so it moves within its season without drifting steadily earlier.
Vijayadashami, closing Dashain. It falls beside Navratri without sharing its shape, so the two are aligned separately.

When is Diwali 2026?
8 Nov 2026
Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November 2026. It follows the Hindu lunisolar calendar, so it moves within its season without drifting steadily earlier.
A single date with a run-up in front of it. How long that run-up is, and how steep, is read from your own history.

When is Pongal 2027?
15 Jan 2027

When does Ramadan 2027 start?

Wedding season
Apr–Jun, an example seasonal pattern, not a fixed date
Varies widely by community and region. MarginLoop reads it from your own order history rather than assuming it.
WHAT WE DO WITH THEM
The dates are ours. The pattern is yours.
MarginLoop does not arrive with a view about what sells at Diwali. It aligns your own history to the date, and the pattern it finds is yours.
A note on this page describes an observance and what MarginLoop does with its date. None of them asserts how a community buys, and none of them ever will: a product that reads your history cannot also ship a view of its own about what sells, and every seasonal figure MarginLoop produces is aligned from your own twelve months.
Bring twelve months, and we will align it to these dates.
On a free thirty-minute fit check we will look at what you can export and tell you whether there is enough history to read a seasonal pattern from.
